SWP (Skill with Prizes) is a term used in the UK for coin operated games that are based on the players skill and skill alone.
Skill with Prizes (SWP) products are split into two categories.
Usually multi-game terminals are to be found in pubs and bars etc, while fast play machines are usually sited in unlicensed premises such as takeaways, taxi ranks, motorway services, bowling alleys, shopping centres and even barber shops.
SWPs must not take on the appearance of gaming machine as there is a significant difference between them, and the two should not be confused.
There are different categories of Skill games: -

Hand eye co-ordination, memory, speed, dexterity, general knowledge, etc and in a number of cases a mixture of all these skills.
Most of the products we operate are based on hand/eye co-ordination and unlike gaming machines which are classed as games of chance, are based purely on the players ability and skill to win a prize.
